Allan Lambert has been voted in as the new chairman of the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation (TIPTO).
The Bourne Leisure head of retail sales replaced Superbreak’s national sales manager Graham Balmforth in the role after being elected to the position at the organisation’s annual general meeting yesterday.
Lambert said: “The plans for our twelfth year are very exciting. There are some new initiatives that will establish TIPTO as a leading consortia for tour operators.
The association’s vice chairman Paul Melinis, Insight Vacations and Trafalgar Tours’ sales director, also stood down from the role to be replaced by Julian Patchett, the market support manager for Brittany Ferries.
