Crystal Cruises returns to Alaska for 2011

Crystal Cruises has confirmed a return to Alaska next year for the first time since 2005.


The luxury company’s 2011 Cruise Guide also features West Africa, a destination not featured since 2001.


Crystal will run eight visits to Glacier Bay in Alaska with the ship Crystal Symphony in 2011.


All Baltic and Mediterranean cruises will be run by Crystal Serenity, with additional North Cape and Black Sea voyages.


Overnight calls are featured in destinations including in Ashdod, Melbourne, Barcelona, Cannes, Istanbul, New York with two-night stays in Dubai, Cape Town and St Petersburg.


New ports of call include Argostoli, Kefalonia; Fethiye, Turkey; Komodo Island, Indonesia; Koper, Slovenia; and Marigot Bay, St Martin.


The 2011 Cruise Guide covers 59 cruises including 167 ports on the two ships, including a 110-day ‘Grand Exotic Expedition’ world cruise.
