Travel agent Keeley Johnson will not return to the Big Brother house because of her ankle injury.
Housemates were told to pack Johnson’s bag as she would be staying home to recover from a fracture to her ankle which she sustained during a task last week.
The former manager of The Co-operative Travel in Oldham was initially taken to hospital and is now recuperating at home.
Industry figures had backed Johnson to win the programme, despite her being branded Cruella De Vil by her fellow housemates.
Reports have suggested Johnson could sue Big Brother for compensation over her injury. However, a Channel 4 spokeswoman said: “Every planned activity in the house undergoes a full risk assessment and is sanctioned by a health and safety expert.”
