An additional series of weekly charter flights has been introduced for the remainder of the summer by Tunisia specialist Just Sunshine.
The 145-seat Nouvel Air departures will run from Gatwick to Monastir between August 7 and October 23.
The first departure sold out in the first 24 hours of going on sale, according to the operator’s national sales manager Tony Blakey.
“Both agents and clients are becoming more aware of what Tunisia can offer as an alternative to some of the Mediterranean old favourites, which has led to our decision to introduce this new late summer series,” he said.
“We have seen a large increase in sales from independent agents this year and we are confident this support will grow as the benefits of Tunisia continue to be discovered.”
The operator, part of the Tunisian El Mouradi hotel group with 18 properties in the country, is offering seven-night all inclusive packages starting at £388 per person this month.
Packages include 20kgs baggage allowance, transfers and no ticket on departure fees.
