Avis UK is opening a flagship branch at the giant Westfield shopping centre in west London.
The outlet, based in the 43-acre shopping complex in Shepherd’s Bush, will serve customers from across west London as well as those travelling from central London by taxi or tube.
The car rental company’s 15th branch in the capital is seen by the company as acting as a gateway for customers looking to escape London due to its easy access to the M3, M4 and M40, as well as Shepherd’s Bush, Wood Lane and White City Underground stations.
Head of marketing Nick Mountfield said: “Not only is it Europe’s largest shopping centre, its location is ideal for those looking to escape London for a weekend getaway via the M3 to the south coast, the M4 to the west country and Wales or the M40 for the Cotswolds and beyond.”
