MSC Cruises has launched a new look website fully optimised for search engines and featuring a more intuitive navigation and layout.
The revamp follows research into the most frequently-used keywords by MSC’s target traveller audience.
The redesigned www.msccruises.co.uk site will be relaunched today (Friday October 1) with interactive web 2.0 content such as video streams, multimedia tours and quick search tools.
The site includes more than 700 static pages, 1,300 dynamic pages, over 5,000 images as well as videos and virtual tours.
A new section on the MSC Club loyalty programme is included along with a section about what to expect from an MSC cruise.
Other features include a revised destinations section broken down into macro-destinations, countries and ports; a “dynamic” cruise search tool, including departure dates and calendar, plus live prices and availability.
Live bookability is not available but could be a feature that is added in the future. The site has also been developed to be compatible with new generation mobile phones.
