Travel reward card specialist and agency Inspire has taken on a former member of staff from Very Holidays in a new role to support its homeworkers.
Tina Benbow joins at the end of this month as business development manager.
For the last six years, Benbow has worked for Very Holidays, the online travel agency and former Freedom Travel Group member which ceased trading last month following the collapse of Thomas Cook in September.
She was a homeworker for three years before becoming homeworking sales support manager.
Benbow has been in the industry for more than 25 years, including working as a senior travel consultant for TV Travel Shop and Fleetway.
In her new role, she will be responsible for mentoring the group’s Inspire and Hidden Retreats homeworkers and working closely with them to develop their businesses, including attending events.
Inspire Group managing director Keith Herman said: “I’m always excited when I meet someone who has more passion for the travel industry than I do! There was absolutely no doubt in my mind she would love the role we have given her at Inspire.
“Homeworkers will love her, our internal team will too. She is creative and passionate about her job and Inspire is a perfect fit for her travel knowledge and business acumen.”
In August the group announced it was targeting 40 Inspire homeworkers by the end of the year.
