Colorado will be exhibiting at WTM 2010

It’s snow joke. Over on the Colorado Tourism stand visitors can get a chance to win ski and board lessons at a local ski centre along with kit such as ski jackets.

Bloomington NA2000

Shopaholics should make a beeline for stand NA2000 where the nice people at Bloomington Convention and Visitors’ Bureau are offering the chance to win a holiday for two to their Minnesota town, which is home to the largest shopping mall in the US.

Utah NA270

Ahead of the launch of Danny Boyle’s new film 127 Hours, which is set in the state, Utah Tourism will be giving away copies of other movies shot there such as Thelma & Louise to agents who complete its online training program, exploreutah.co.uk.

It will also be shouting about the new luxury ski-in ski-out spa hotel, The Montage, set to open at Deer Valley this December.

Florida NA3000

Exhibitors on the Visit Florida stand will be rubbing their hands ahead of British Airways’ increased Gatwick-Tampa Bay service, which goes daily in April, 2011.

On the stand you can check out the latest from the likes of Disney, Universal Studios and Busch Gardens, as well as St Petersburg’s and Clearwater’s new Dalí Museum, set to open in January, 2011. The Florida Keys & Key West tourism council will be promoting its new iPhone App and Conch Key Academy for agents.

California NA1100

California Tourism will be showcasing the new daily BA flight from Heathrow to San Diego starting on June 1, 2011 and giving agents a heads up on its new TV ad ‘Misconceptions’, due to air in the UK in December. It will also announce the relaunch of heli-skiing at Lake Tahoe this winter.

Sign up for its online training programme, California Expert, to be entered into a prize draw for a case of California wine, and get a taste for it on the stand at 4pm on Monday and Tuesday.

Texas NA150

Texas Tourism will be highlighting events for next year such as the 2011 Super Bowl in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the South By Southwest music festival – not to mention the 2012 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Austin.

New York NA210

The New York Travel Advisory Bureau is enticing delegates to the Discover More New York stand to hear about major new developments such as ‘CanDo’, the revitalisation of Manhattan from Canal Street Down.
