EasyJet is making a return to Tunisia for the first time since the Sousse beach terrorist attacks in 2015.

Two flights a week will run from Gatwick to the beach resort of Enfidha.

The Albanian capital of Tirana will be served by the carrier for the first time with three flights a week from Gatwick starting on May 1.

Enfidha fares start at £51.94 return and Tirana at £84.98.

They are among 12 new routes from the UK next summer.

The airline is adding a total of 25 new routes across its network, amounting to more than 370,000 seats.

UK country manager Ali Gayward said: “We’re pleased to be continuing to deliver an unrivalled network which, with today’s announcement, sees two new destinations for passengers from the UK and 25 new routes placed on sale across our network.

“We expect our new destinations to be especially popular among customers – offering something different from typical bucket and spade holidays.”
