Travelzoo head of production Tracey Cheffey is to leave the business after eight years at the travel deals specialist.
Cheffey will formally leave on Friday and is planning to take some time out of the travel sector.
She joined Travelzoo in August 2011 after four years at Yahoo!. Prior to that she spent a decade at BSskyB as head of travel for Sky Text.
Cheffey said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Travelzoo and I’m proud that the brand has gone from strength to strength and the audience continues to grow off the back of the amazing deals the team produce.
“After twenty plus years working in the industry, I’m going to take some time out in the New Year before embarking on the next challenge”.
No announcement about a successor to Cheffey was announced by Travelzoo.
