Expedition line Aurora Expeditions has launched a new website with real-time availability, pricing, promotions, offers and search functionality.
The site, which launched on December 20, has the same web address – www.auroraexpeditions.com.au – but features dedicated trade sections where agents can find out news, updates and webinar announcements.
The new search functionality allows users to select duration, date, price, and activities, such as snorkelling, skiing or kayaking.
A quotation function is now available which will also soon house a new live reservation facility where users can book places on specific voyages.
Once bookings are complete, passengers are given access to the customer-facing section of the site with personalised logins to track their reservation.
Agents will be able to access a trade portal but the line has yet to reveal a launch date.
The line’s new ship Greg Mortimer was christened in November. A second purpose-built vessel is to be built by Miami-based shipyard, SunStone.
The second ship is slated for delivery in autumn 2021.
