Massive profit increase for luxury online agency

Luxury online agency holidaysplease.co.uk announced massive profit increases for the year ending March 31 2010 this week.

Pre tax profits rose by several hundred per cent compared to 2009 up more than £100,000 to £129,512.

The company attributes the growth in profits to a 53% rise in sales for the same period.

Commenting on the results director Charles Duncombe said:- “I would be lying if we weren’t a little nervous going into a recession as a luxury holiday company.

“However almost 2 years since the credit crunch hit we have been delighted to have grown both turnover and profits.

“With low mortgage rates, many people’s disposable income has actually risen during the recession and as long as people feel safe in their job then I think they are still willing to spend on their holidays.

“As a business we have also benefitted because there are some very talented people available in the job market who we have been able to recruit.”
