Monarch Travel Group has completed a board revamp following a restructuring of the business
Katy Sayburn has become overseas purchasing and operations director, taking the position formally held by Hugh Morgan before his promotion to tour operations managing director earlier this year.
Previously the operator’s Palma-based head of purchasing & operations and based in Palma, Majorca, Sayburn assumes the role with immediate effect.
The appointment completes the operator’s new board appointments since the recent restructuring of the croup.
Morgan said: “Katy has formidable skills, knows our people and the business inside out and has excellent relationships with our hoteliers and suppliers – something which I believe is key to the strength of our group.”
Sayburn has held several senior positions since joining Cosmos six years ago and will continue to be based in Palma.
