MSC Cruises has reduced the single supplement on selected cabin categories in a bid to attract more solo passengers.
The Italian cruiseline, which will be sailing from Southampton for the first time in summer 2011, has trimmed its single supplement from 80% of the standard fare to 50%.
“MSC Cruises appreciates that cruising is one of the most popular holiday choices for single passengers, and has therefore taken action in order to address this market,” the company said.
