Organisers of the 2011 Business Travel & Meetings Show (BTMS) are confident of attracting around 200 exhibitors to the February event.
Centaur Travel Group has signed up 150 exhibitors so far and is “confident” the show will be bigger than this year’s.
Exhibitors signed up for the show at Earls Court 2 in London on February 8-9 include American Express, Air New Zealand, Barclaycard Commercial, Best Western Hotels, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Egencia, HRG, Heathrow Express, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Premier Inn, Sabre Travel Network, Streetcar and Virgin Atlantic.
Click Travel will be unveiling two new products at the show – an upgrade to its Travel Manager online service and Click Expense, the TMC’s first foray into the world of expense management.
Event organiser David Chapple said: “BTMS is tracking ahead of last year and though it’s still early days we are confident we will have a very strong show in 2011.
“From a supplier viewpoint, there is more confidence in the industry than there was this time last year.
“There is also more financial security. And that means companies are, once again, keen to invest in this show, which plays such a key role in raising and maintaining brand awareness among new customers.”
