Balcony cabin upgrades and discounted fares form a central part of the peak wave selling season campaign by Princess Cruises in the UK.
The line expects to book a record number of passengers in accommodation with a private outside space for 2011.
Free upgrades from ocean view to balcony cabins are available on Grand Princess sailings from Southampton, with seven-nights leading in at £999 per person to the Norwegian fjords and 14-nights to the Mediterranean at £1,699.
Balcony cabins for the price of ocean view accommodation are also available on Ruby Princess and Star Princess fly-cruises in the Mediterranean.
Twelve-night cruise-only fares start at £1,599 with fly-cruise packages from £1,399. Balcony upgrades from £99 apply to Caribbean sailings with mini-suite upgrades starting at £199.
Nine-night cruise-only rates for Caribbean Princess sailing from New York start at £699 for an interior cabin or £898 for balcony accommodation. Fly-cruise packages start at £1,209.
Fourteen-night cruises from San Juan start at £799 for an interior or £1,098 for a balcony cabin with fly-cruises from £1,729.
In Alaska, a seven-night cruise-only fare on Coral Princess starts at £830 for an interior or £1,170 for a balcony cabin with fly-cruises leading in at £1,800.
Worldwide itineraries also have balcony and mini-suite offers, including cruises to the Far East, Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii.
