Holiday Extras recruits ex-BT Sport finance chief

A new finance chief from outside the travel sector has been appointed at Holiday Extras.

Hugo Loudon was previously finance director at BT Sport and TV and head of finance at Sky.

He  replaces Deborah Stevenson, who was appointed interim CFO last year following the departure of Andrew Parker, but has now left the company.

Holidays Extras group chief executive Matthew Pack said: “I am delighted Hugo has joined us. He has the skills, ambition and drive to take Holiday Extras to new heights.

“I love his strategic thinking and the discipline he brings to the office environment with his professional sports background.

“It’s two years since the business completed a second management buyout, and despite all of the headwinds in travel we’re two years ahead of our original five-year plan.”

Loudon added: “My own passions are sport and travelling with my family so contributing to a business with a mission to make the most of people’s precious leisure time is something I’m very much looking forward to.”
