New Virgin Voyages ship Scarlet Lady has been delivered to the yet-to-launch line by Italian ship building yard Fincantieri.
The ceremony in Genoa was attended by the line’s president and chief executive Tom McAlpin (pictured) and the chairman of Fincantieri Giampiero Massolo.
Scarlet Lady is the first of four ships to be built by Fincantieri.
The 2,770-passenger ship will arrive in the UK next week before the line hosts agents overnight on February 22.
British agents will be the first guests to stay overnight on the ship.
