This year’s inaugural LATA Expo is expected to host at least 15% more exhibitors than at the equivalent event last year.
The Latin American Travel Association (LATA) this week officially relaunched Experience Latin America as LATA Expo. The show, Europe’s largest B2B travel event focused on Latin America, will take place from June 8-10 at Magazine London, in Greenwich.
A new Ministerial Summit, on June 10, will focus on marketing destinations to the UK and understanding the UK consumer.
LATA is also to introduce its first one-day international shows, in Amsterdam and Paris, on June 15 and 17 respectively.
LATA chairman Colin Stewart said: “We have been working hard to meet our objective of growing the organisation and so are delighted to launch our first edition of LATA Expo that perfectly aligns our flagship event with the wider LATA brand.
“The new venue, new format and new international one-day events are all examples of how we are expanding LATA and working closer with media and the travel trade internationally to encourage growth in Latin American tourism. We look forward to welcoming all our LATA members and key members of the industry to the inaugural edition of LATA Expo”.
