An additional 10% discount is being offered on more than 160 cruises in 2012 as P&O Cruises marks its 175th anniversary.
The line’s 2012-13 brochure, which goes on sale on April 5, includes early booking discounts of up to £1,500 per couple based on a 35-night Caribbean cruise.
The extra ‘175th anniversary saving’ of 10% is available on 163 out of 215 cruises in the brochure. The discounts apply to bookings made by May 31.
On board spending money of up to £420 per couple, based on a 21 night Caribbean cruise on Ventura, is available together with free places for third and fourth passengers on selected departures.
The programme includes 13 new destinations including Ancona in Italy, Durres in Albania and Kalmar in Sweden. The line’s seven ships will visit 255 ports in 84 countries on cruises ranging from two to 109 nights in duration.
Fares lead in at £199 for two-night party cruises from Southampton. The brochure features the second year of Oceana’s ex-UK winter cruising including two short cruises of four and seven days for Christmas and New Year.
These offer the chance to spend Boxing Day in Copenhagen or New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam. P&O Cruises’ managing director Carol Marlow said there would be 148 roundtrip cruises from Southampton next year.
“2012 will also see the first full year for our new addition, Adonia,” said Marlow. “She will offer fly-cruises to the Mediterranean featuring some very diverse and adventurous ports of call, such as Trapani in Italy and Sanary Sur Mer in France, which will appeal to a more experienced passenger.”
