Avis UK has had its preferred car rental partner status with HRG extended by two years. The company has worked with HRG for more than ten years as one of its preferred car rental suppliers.
Avis has held the position as the only car rental partner in the UK to have a contract with HRG for 18 months.
HRG group suppler and industrial relations director Adrian Woodward said: “The decision to award Avis the preferred car rental partner status is the culmination of a long standing relationship which has been built up over many years.
“Over the last 18 months Avis has proven itself time and time again to be worthy of this status; extending the contract was the most appropriate decision.”
Avis UK head of business travel sales Lisa Eastwood added: “Our preferred status with HRG is something we certainly don’t take for granted.
“We pride ourselves on having held this position for the last 18 months and to have it extended for a further two years is testament to the hard work and commitment of our specialised business travel team.”
