Abta has announced a change of speaker at its Travel Matters conference in London after transport minister Philip Hammond pulled out.
Instead the half day conference will hear from Justine Greening MP, the Economic Secretary at the Treasury who is responsible for Air Passenger Duty.
Her appearance comes after last week’s Budget when it was announced APD would be frozen until next April. Abta said it will be the first public appearance by a treasury minister since the budge and Greening will be able to give an indication of future policy on APD.
Travel Matters will take place on Tuesday April 5 at the Millbank Media Centre, Westminster, London
