Disneyland Paris is planning to host 300 agents in June 2011 after launching the year-long Magical Moments Festival.
The park operator has joined forces with Eurostar, Air France and Leger Holidays to organise a series of fams to promote the festival’s 14 new features, as well as workshops and presentations by the Disney team and its partners.
It is also offering a concessionary rate for agents who want to experience the festival with family and friends, available via disneytravelagents.co.uk.
Peter Welch, Disneyland Paris’s commercial vice-president for the UK, said: “It is crucial we showcase magical moments, and what we do, to as many agents as possible.”
Agents can promote the festival by downloading point-of-sale posters, balloons and window displays from the agent website.
The build-up to the festival centred on a “highly successful” advertising campaign which focused on the first magical moment of a Disney holiday, ‘the reveal’ – when parents tell their children they are going to Disneyland Paris.
The campaign led to Disneyland Paris’s best-ever January sales and strong forward bookings.
