Etoa has created a coronavirus hub on its website to offer support to members.
The hub on the European travel association’s site includes content such as business support webinars and links to official information from the European Union, national governments and tourist boards.
Research from organisations including the UNWTO and OECD will also feature, and the association said it continues to monitor “ travel restrictions across Europe and key long haul source markets as well as national governments’ temporary application of the Package Travel Directive”.
Tom Jenkins, Etoa chief executive, said: “We have ripped up our current schedules to boost our support systems for our members. Our members are facing an immediate and urgent cash crisis.
“We have added to our existing resources and stepped-up lobbying efforts in the UK and the EU to ensure that jobs and companies survive these extraordinarily challenging times.”
