Teletext Holidays is to promote travel offers to the Post Office’s database of 800,000 customers under a deal to become its holiday deals supplier.
The travel company is providing offers for the travel section of the Post Office’s website www.postoffice.co.uk, while the Teletext Holidays brand or sister company Villarenters will always feature on the home page.
It will also email the Post Office’s customer database twice a month with around 20 offers from its tour operator and travel agency advertisers. Customers will have to sign up to access the offers.
Teletext Holidays managing director Victoria Sanders said: “This is a key partnership because people see the Post Office as a trusted brand and it’s extra distribution for our advertisers.”
She said the company was looking for other new partners.
“We are always talking to people and we have got various conversations on the go. Part of our business strategy is to work with brands like the Post Office,” she added.
Teletext Holidays sends out personalised emails once a week to its current database of 500,000 customers and has a 20% ‘open’ rate. The latest deal gives Teletext Holidays exposure to almost double that number of customers.
