LONG-haul operator Tropical Locations is considering acquiring other specialist operations as it eyes expansion into Australia and the US.
Managing director David Kevan said the additions to the 2000 programme will probably be the last. “I will still look at sensible expansion but within existing locations,” he said. “I would not rule us out of Australia or US markets but I think this might be better obtained from the purchase of an existing operation. We are still keen to be a selective destination specialist and a worldwide tag could be counter-productive.”
Mexico, Turks, Caicos, The Grenadines and Cambodia have been added to the 2000 programme. The range of hotels has been increased across the programme with Kevan predicting strong growth for Bali and Mauritius.
