The Co-operative Travel Group head of e-commerce Neil Hardy is leaving to join Midcounties Co-operative.
Hardy, who will leave his position in July, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Midcounties Co-op’s online offering.
Alistair Rowland, director of distribution for The Co-operative Travel Group, said: “Neil and his team have been instrumental in transforming The Co-operative Travel’s online presence, and cementing our position as one of the leading players in online travel retailing. I would like to thank him for his contribution and to wish him well for the future.”
Hardy said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with The Co-operative Travel, and would like to thank the e-commerce team for their hard work and support over the last three years.
“The new role at Midcounties Co-operative is a fantastic opportunity for me to further my career, as it will see me looking after all aspects of the Society’s online presence. I’m also very pleased to be staying within the Co-operative as I am very proud to work for such an ethical and honest movement.”
