Demand prompts A&K to expand UK and Ireland portfolio

Abercrombie & Kent has become the latest operator to give fresh focus on the domestic travel sector.

The luxury company has been selling UK and Ireland holidays for decades and is now expanding its portfolio due to an increase in demand.

Europe and the UK came out on top in a survey of clients as the most desired destinations to travel to post-lockdown.

The range of itineraries include following the homes and castles of the Royal family, a private island tour of the Scottish highlands and islands, golf tours in Scotland and Ireland and stays in top hotels such as Gleneagles.

A&K will waive charges to switch travel dates or destinations for new bookings made by September 30 up to 35 days prior to departure to travel any time before December 31, 2021.

A&K managing director Kerry Golds commented: “We’ve been keen to develop a suite of UK and Ireland itineraries tailored to our UK clientele for quite a while, and decided now was the right time.

“The breadth and depth of these islands is truly remarkable and right on our doorstep.

“Many people might think that they can simply do these trips themselves, but can they do them the A&K way?”
