In line with the current trend for outdoor urban spaces in Shanghai, The Puli Hotel and Spa has launched a new garden terrace.
The terrace is a 135-square meter outside space overlooking Jing’An Park, one of greenest areas of Shanghai.
It has room for 55 people and is filled with plush sofas and comfy chairs with additional seating under shelter.
The PuLi’s resident chef, New Zealander Dane Clouston has tailored a special menu of light snacks from chilled liver parfait, marinated prawns to a selection of gourmet cheeses to enjoy alongside Champagne, cocktails and what the hotel describes as an ‘imaginative’ wine list.
The space will play host to barbecues, open air cinema evenings and croquet afternoons.
The hotel is in the Jing’An district and has 209 rooms and 20 suites and an Anantara spa.
It has recently launched its Club Concept that offers 24 hour butler service and priority booking.
