Two former Kuoni executives are joining long haul specialist Abercrombie & Kent
Ian Coghlan is returning to the company as chief executive of Abercrombie & Kent’s travel division.
He spent 17 years with Kuoni, ending up as chief executive of its US tour operator and cruise line before returning to the UK to run A&K’s UK business in 2002.
More recently he spent four years as chief executive of Saga’s travel business and cruise line.
Hans Lerch will be joining the A&K Group as an advisor and non-executive director.
Former Kuoni group chief executive Hans Lerch is becoming an advisor and non-executive director to the A&K group, founder and chief executive Geoffrey Kent announced.
Lerch, currently vice-chairman and chief executive of Hotelplan, spent 35 years at Kuoni and headed up the operator between 1999 and 2005.
He built Kuoni’s worldwide DMC business as well as taking the company into India and China.
