Marriott International has expanded its portfolio with the signing of management contracts for four properties.
The company will manage the Taba Marriott Hotel and Beach Resort located on the east side of the South Sinai peninsula.
The 393-room resort, Marriotts third in the Red Sea, is due to open later this year. The 136-suite JW Marriott Hotel is being constructed in Caracas and will be completed next year with a second 133-room tower being built over the next two years. This is the group’s first property in Caracas.
The 436-room Pacific Star Resort on Guam in the South Pacific was opened in 1987 and will be rebranded as the Guam Marriott Resort following an 18-month renovation.
The Ilikai Hotel in Honolulu will be reflagged to Marriott’s Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites brand.
The 782-room hotel will be rebranded the Renaissance Ilikai Waikiki.
