Emerald Waterways unveils 2021 Russia programme

Emerald Waterways has launched its 2021 Russia programme with two itineraries onboard newly chartered ship Nizhny Novgorod.

The recently refurbished vessel will sail on Russian waterways, including Europe’s longest river, the Volga, from May 2021.

The 11-day Imperial Charms of Russia river cruise takes guests to traditional villages as they sail from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Highlights include a guided tour of St. Petersburg, a Shashlik lunch in Mandrogi, the Monastery of St. Cyril on the White Lake, and a guided tour of Moscow.

Agents can offer clients the reverse 12-day itinerary for an extra day in St. Petersburg at the end.

Joseph Grimley, director of trade sales for Emerald Waterways, said: “We are confident our new Russian brochure will provide agents with the inspiration and tools they need for their clients booking for 2021. The world may be in a very different place at the moment; however, we are optimistic that consumers will be inspired by the new programme and look to secure their trip for 2021.

“Emerald Waterways’ commitment to our guests, the guest experience and their health, safety and wellbeing remains our key priority. Our global management team is working closely with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and government health agencies around the world to continue to provide each and every guest with the uttermost confidence while on board with us.”
