Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has released details of another 2022 sailing, with the early release of a 28-night voyage in the Mediterranean and Black Sea.
It is the second itinerary to be released from Fred Olsen’s 2022 cruise programme, following the 17-night Whales, Waterfalls & Volcanic Islands sailing announced last year.
Passengers who book the Black Sea Discovery with the Mediterranean cruise before September 1 2020 will receive up to £250 as onboard spending credit.
The cruise on Balmoral (pictured) sets sail from Dover in September 2022, and visits Gibraltar, Malta, Istanbul and various destinations in the Black Sea, before returning via Greece and Spain.
Jackie Martin, marketing and sales director at Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “Guests will have the opportunity to sample wines in the rolling vineyards of Georgia, taste fresh tea on one of Sochi’s many plantations, get lost in one of the world’s largest catacombs in Ukraine, experience the vibrant cities of Valetta and Istanbul and take in the stunning views on a boat tour along the Danube.”
Balmoral’s 28-night Black Sea Discovery with the Mediterranean cruise costs from £4,299.
News of the itinerary follows the announcement that Fred Olsen Cruise Lines will welcome two new ships, Bolette and Borealis, as the company looks ahead to a return to operations.
