Bad weather causes flight delays in Europe

Bad weather is causing “significant” flight delays at Amsterdam and Brussels airports this morning.

European air traffic control body Eurocontrol warned that Heathrow services could potentially be affected.

Delays of up to 40 minutes are expected due to poor weather conditions as a band of heavy rain swept across London and southeast England.

Flight arrivals in Holland are being regulated with “moderate to high” delays expected, Eurocontrol said.
