Former Saga, Tui and Thomas Cook director Jeannette Linfoot has launched a business-focused podcast covering sectors including travel, tourism, hospitality, property, media, finance, health and well-being.
The Brave, Bold, Brilliant podcast is available on podcast platforms including iTunes, Spotify and Google Podcasts, and will feature interviews with business leaders including travel executives such as former easyJet chief operating officer Chris Browne, The Travel House founder Martin Morgan and easyJet Holidays chief executive Garry Wilson.
Linfoot started her career as a government economist, before moving into travel where she held senior roles with Tui, Thomas Cook, First Choice and Saga, where she was managing director of the tour operating division.
Since leaving Saga in 2018, she has developed a portfolio of businesses covering property investing, board advisory and business mentoring.
She said the concept of the podcast came from “a firm belief that we all have greatness within us, and that with the right mindset and by being Brave, Bold & Brilliant we can achieve anything we want in business, career and life in general”.
The podcast’s description added: “From the boardroom tables of ‘big’ international business, to the dining room tables of entrepreneurial start-ups; embracing opportunities, overcoming challenges, taking risks, whilst staying ‘true’ to yourself is what it’s all about.”
