Wizz Air is resuming flights between the UK and Russia after the country announced the re-opening of borders next month.
The low cost carrier is to restart services from Luton airport to Moscow and St Petersburg on August 15 with one-way fares starting at £25.99.
Flights will run weekly on Wednesdays to St Petersburg and twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays to Moscow.
Wizz Air UK managing director Owain Jones said: “We’re excited to be reintroducing flights to the cities of Moscow and St Petersburg as Russian travel restrictions are eased.
“We are the sole British carrier connecting the UK to St Petersburg and are proud to provide genuinely unique travel opportunities to our UK customers.”
