SOVEREIGN has added nine ships to its expanded 2000 Cruise and Stay brochure, with itineraries including the Caribbean, Alaska, the Mediterranean and the Far East.
The new ships include Holland America Line’s Westerdam and Zaandam in the Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises’ Galaxy in Alaska, Orient Line’s Marco Polo in the Mediterranean, Star Cruises’ SuperStar Gemini and Superstar Europe in the Far East and Swan Hellenic’s Minerva, which will carry out cruises worldwide.
New itineraries include a seven-night cruise on Marco Polo combined with a three-night city break in Copenhagen, with prices starting from £969.
Swan Hellenic will feature a range of different cruises around the world on board Minerva. Each includes talks by experts who will also lead on-shore excursions.
Prices start from £2,215 for an eight-night cruise on Minerva with three nights’ accommodation in Barcelona and four nights in Madeira.
The brochure price leads in at £835 per person for a seven-night cruise on Festival Cruises’ Mistral from Venice around the Greek Islands.
For first-time cruisers, Sovereign has introduced a double-page spread that offers hints on how to choose the right cruise and what to expect on board.
