Virgin Holidays Cruises to open first high street ‘store’

Virgin Holidays Cruises will operate a pop-up store during the upcoming National Cruise Week which starts on September 16.


The retailer and operator’s first dedicated cruise store will be just off the high street in Alton and will promote the firm’s Rockstar Service to potential customers.


Staff will be promoting Virgin’s range of tailor-made cruise holidays throughout the week that is run by Ace, the trade training arm of the Passenger Shipping Association. 


The store will be offering 10% off all cruise holidays from to mark the opening of what Virgin claims if its ‘landmark pop-up store’.


Richard Twynam, Virgin Holidays Cruises managing director, said: “I am especially delighted that we are opening our first ever store in Alton as it is where I started my career and a place I am very fond of.


“We are really excited to bring Virgin Holidays Cruises ‘Rockstar Service’ to the high street just in time for National Cruise Week.”
