Singapore Airlines has finalised a deal with Airbus to lease 15 additional A330-300 aircraft.
The aircraft will be delivered new from Airbus’s production line between 2013 and 2015 and will be operated on routes within Asia as well as to points in Australia and the Middle East. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, the aircraft will join 19 A330-300s already in service.
Originally announced in June, the final agreement was signed by SIA chief executive Goh Choon Phong during a visit this week to Airbus’s headquarters in Toulouse, France.
