Avis has appointed Rebecca Wolf to the new position of travel support and training co-ordinator for the travel sales team. She will be responsible for training agents on Avis products and developing its Driving School agent training programme. Wolf joins from Bridge the World.
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has recruited Anthony Ross as group operations manager based at Hong Kong. He was previously general manager at the All Seasons Premier Grand Hotel in Melbourne, Australia. He replaces Knut Becker who is now director of food and beverage at Mandarin Oriental in Manilla. The group has also appointed Baldwin Yeung as the group’s new assistant director of corporate sales. He joins from Discover the World Marketing of Arizona where he was general manager.
Mundi Color has promoted Clare Siddle as its new product sales executive. Siddle formerly worked for Air France Holidays before joining Mundi Color in 1995 as travel consultant before she took responsibility for planning routes for Mundi Color’s tailor-made holidays.
GE Travel Insurance Services has appointed Lesley Russell as marketing communications manager. She joins from GETIS’ parent company, GEInsurance Holdings.
