EasyJet is expanding its Gatwick network to 93 destinations with the addition of a summer-only route to the Greek island of Kefalonia.
The three times a week service to the Ionian island will run from April 28 to October 2012 with fares starting at £35.99 one way going on sale on October 20.
Kefalonia becomes the tenth new route to be announced this year by the budget airline from Gatwick following Amman, Catania, Fuerteventura, Seville, Izmir, Bologna, Verona, Zagreb and Aberdeen.
UK director Paul Simmons said: “The continued expansion of our Gatwick operation and the fact that we are the airport’s largest airline reflects EasyJet’s commitment to providing travellers in the region with the best choice of destinations at the lowest possible fares.”
