Portugal has gained a fresh tourism lift with Tui adding extra flights to Faro.
The additional capacity will be available from August 30 until the end of October.
The new flights will run from Gatwick plus Birmingham and Manchester from September 3.
The weekly services are in addition to four already in place, including departures from East Midlands airport.
The additions follow the UK removing quarantine restrictions on British holidaymakers returning from Portugal.
Tui’s move follows Ryanair announcing 14 more flights a week to the Algarve between September 11 and October 24.
