EASYJET has launched a new daily service to Madrid from Liverpool Airport.
The start of flights to the new destination, EasyJet’s seventh from Merseyside, marks the beginning of increasing capacity at the low-cost carrier’s secondary UK hub. Return fares to Madrid start at a lead-in price of £88, including tax.
Existing Liverpool flights to Amsterdam and Nice were increased to a double-daily service from daily last week.
And next month a fourth Boeing 737 will be based in Liverpool to enable thrice-daily flights to commence to EasyJet’s main hub, Luton Airport.
EasyJet said that the new Madrid flight, and the increased Amsterdam service, were aimed at targeting the northwest business community.
