Budget carrier Ryanair launched its biggest seat sale of 2020 at midnight, offering a million one-way fares for £5.
The 48-hour sale lasts until midnight on Wednesday (September 2).
Destinations on offer are in Europe, north Africa and the Middle East.
Dara Brady, Ryanair’s marketing and digital director, said: “For 48 hours only we’re launching a mega price drop sale, across one million seats.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grab yourself, your friends and your family a flight to one of Ryanair’s 240 destinations for less than the cost of a pint.”
The flights on offer are departures in September and October, from airports across the UK.
Last week, the Irish carrier announced it will be adding 14 extra flights to Faro in Portugal each week, departing from 12 British airports.
The new flights will operate from September 11 to October 24.
They were added in response to the UK’s decision to place Portugal on its ‘safe list’ of countries.
