The deadline for a possible offer for travel group Travelzest has been extended by a month.
Canadian company Red Label vacations was given until Monday October 17 to either make a firm offer or walk away.
The UK takeover panel has agreed to extend the deadline until November 14.
Travelzest said today: “Although discussions in relation to a possible offer by Red Label are at an advanced stage, shareholders should be aware that there can be no certainty that an offer from Red Label will be forthcoming.
“A further announcement will be made in due course.”
