The winners of this year’s Silver Travel Awards are due to be announced this week in the first virtual version of the event.
More than 225,000 votes have been cast for the annual awards, run by Silver Travel Advisor, which honour the best travel companies for the over-50s – a 60% increase on 2019 voting.
There is still time to register for the free event, which will be hosted by broadcaster and former MP Gyles Brandreth from 3-3.45pm on Tuesday, September 15.
One viewer who tunes in via Zoom will win a case of wine.
