Air France prepares for cabin crew strike

Air France expects a strike by cabin crew to cause only limited delays and cancellations, with 80% of flights operating as normal.

Passengers will be able to alter bookings for flights during the strike period of October 29 to November 2, regardless of whether their flight is cancelled. Changes must be made by November 30.

“The company has done everything possible to best organise its flight schedule although significant uncertainty remains regarding the level of participation in the strike by cabin crew, who are not required to notify the company of their intentions,” the airline said.

“Ground crews are mobilised to minimise the strike’s disruption on the company’s numerous customers in France and worldwide.”

Tickets can be refunded for flights that are cancelled or delayed by more than five hours using a form available on the ‘Manage your reservations’ section of the Air France website.
