Hobbyists are being targeted by a cruise agency which is to run a dedicated ‘craft cruise’.
Planet Cruise has joined forces with the Create and Craft television channel to run the four-night sailing for those who have a passion for crafting as a hobby.
Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ ship Ocean Countess is being used for the cruise over the May bank holiday departing from Hull on May 4. The itinerary includes a day in Amsterdam and Hamburg and a day at sea.
Passengers will be able to join Create and Craft presenters and guest experts in a range of crafting workshops on the cruise which goes on sale on November 28.
Planet Cruise director Jenny West said: “This is the first ever Create and Craft cruise and we are so excited to be giving people with a love for crafts and cruising the opportunity to spend an amazing four days in the company of presenters from the Create & Craft Channel.
“They will be able to learn, whilst creating beautiful individual items, and meeting people who share their passion.”
Prices start at £299 per person including an early booking discount of £100.
