Stand-up comedian Chris Ramsey raised £7,100 for the Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust by appearing on TV game show Tipping Point.
Ramsey is a patron of the charity set up in memory of Westoe Travel’s teenage apprentice Chloe Rutherford and her boyfriend Liam Curry, who were both killed in the 2017 terrorist bombing at the Manchester Arena while attending an Ariana Grande concert.
The South Shields couple, who were ‘inseparable’, were two of the 23 killed that night, including the suicide bomber.
The Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust was set up as a legacy to the couple by their families and gives grants to support talented young people to achieve their ambitions in sport and performance.
More than 130 grants totalling over £250,000 have been awarded by the trust.
