A new 24-hour travel safety desk will give Covid-19 destination updates to travel advisors working for Protravel International, Tzell Travel Group and Colletts Travel.
The service will be available to their clients for a fee, enabling frequent travellers, corporate travel managers and business travellers to directly call or email health and safety representatives for pre-trip and on-travel guidance.
Clients who subscribe for an undisclosed sum can call or contact a hotline for real-time information on conditions in a destination.
The service includes a dedicated portal with interactive Covid-19 travel entry requirements map and situational reports, a request for information email and hotline number.
The new desk will be staffed by safety and security experts at Florida-based risk advisory specialist ExLog Global and is an extension of a partnership already in place with sister company Altour.
Jason Oshiokpekhai, managing director of the three agencies under the Travel Leaders/Internova Travel Group umbrella, said: “The healthy, safety and well-being of travellers is the highest priority, especially during this ongoing pandemic.
